Jet Airways launches travel insurance product

Indian carrier Jet Airways has announced that it has collaborated with ICICI Lombard General Insurance to launch an international and domestic travel insurance product called JetProtect.
The travel insurance policy covers several situations, including medical expenses caused by accidents, possible loss from trip cancellation, loss or delay of checked-in baggage and compassionate visits by relatives in the case of illness.
JetProtect can be purchased on the Jet Airways website at the time of booking flight tickets. Customers may also purchase insurance separately through the airline’s website.
Pricing details of the insurance policy were not reported.
